It`s Pl. Narutowicza, isn`t it?
Co to jest "T25" ?
"T 25" is the original name mentioned in Bufe: Strassenbahnen i Schlesien. The vehicles were also sold to Katowice an one was rented to Düsseldorf.
So it`s only invention of Bufe. I didn`t see this in any original documents. Sometimes it`s also called Linke-Hofmann "Standard".
Yes, I saw the "Standard" as well. The type "T25 is used in the fleet list in Strassenbahn Magazin 75/1990 at pages 36-37. The modernised Falkenried vehicles (25 of which went to Warsaw after the War) are referred to as "M30".
But that could be a simple abbreviation for "Triebwagen" and "1925". LH produed the vehicles nos. 1001-1182 for Wroclaw in 1925-1929. Similar trailers were rebuilt in 1934/1938 into motorised units nos 1183-1232. So it was actually only a standard version for Wroclaw.
It was probably used by author for trying to classify vehicles, but it isn`t "official" type.
Yes, I think you may be right. However, "Standard" would also be an unofficial name used by us here. And "Lw" is the Warsaw name - though official - for the 15 vehicles taken over by Warsaw. I only know that this series was delivered to Wroclaw, and I could assume that LH/LHB has not had any official name of the type.
I searched Strassenbahn Magazin 75/1990 again. The prototype was a trailer no. 3001 presented in 1924 at the Seddiner Verkehrsausstellung. The type was developed by LH in cooperation with the Städtische Strassenbahn Breslau. The author, Rudolf Klitscher, uses the name "T25" in the entire article.
There wasn`t such car as "3001" in 1924, 4-digit numbers for trailers were set in 1928. AFAIK it was a motor car no. 393 (this car was later reconstructed to trailer 3001), one of a few "self-constructed" by SSB works cars, which were expected as a new model for Breslau. LH "standard" used some solutions of those cars.
